CrossCom National is the single source partner retailers depend on for in-store communications networking requirements.



The Account Receivable Representation is responsible for collecting money which is owed to CrossCom National by customers for products and services provided on credit. A specific sale is generally only treated as an account receivable after the customer is sent an invoice.


  • Perform day-to-day activities concerning accounts receivables collections and credit memos.
  • Contact all customers regarding balances over 45 days, reprint and resend requested documents to expedite payments.
  • Develop and maintain an A/R contact with all customers to insure good working relationships.
  • Prepare and mail monthly statements to all customers.
  • Update customer information in the production system (proprietary system "CrossTrack" and on Lotus Notes e-mail distribution list).
  • Receive and process credit requests from customers including explanations.
  • Create Credit Memo's when approved in both CrossTrack and the general ledger. Post information on internal excel worksheets and send copies of credits to customers.
  • Perform customer claim research.
  • Re-bill incorrect invoices where applicable.
  • Review customer invoices for errors.
  • Perform customer payment research.
  • Contact Dun & Bradstreet for information reports on customers.
  • Perform special projects in the accounting function as needed.


  •  7-10 years A/R professional experience to include credit & collections
  • Undergraduate degree preferred (accounting or finance concentration a plus)
  • Advanced skills using financial applications required (e.g. Peoplesoft)
  • Intermediate Microsoft excel, word and typing skills
  • Practical experience with Lotus Notes e-mail a plus
  • Attention to Detail, Action Oriented, Customer Focus, Informing, Problem Solving, Standing Alone
  • Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa
  • BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Intermediate computer skills to include: Basic typing skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • User-level experience with Lotus Notes e-mail a plus
